We attended the Feast this year with Legacy Institute in Thailand. Links on page:
First Couple of Days we got settled down, made new acquaintances because of shared friends and listened to special music.
Khantoke Dinner is always one of our favorites.
Off To School! We take the tour of the Legacy Institute school and farm facilities. This is followed by a delicious (aroy) Dinner at Khun Lek's.
Sumjai took us on a family excursion to Doi Kham (Gold Mountain).
Talent Night is always interesting.
This is the first year we've gone on a tour of one of The Queen's Project.
The Last Great Day always has good special music. Of course, it is followed by the sad Farewell Dinner.
Stress of Jet Lag finally catches up
Blessing of the Little Children MPG
There was also a sword dance. This isn't the worst one I've ever seen, for sure, but I thought the first time we went the sword dancer was better.
It's always fun to see your friends in the audience participation dance.
A fun game of kick-ball.
I thought the laser-inscribed Buddha was big. Get a load of how large this one is!
There seems to be more and more Indian and Chinese influence.
Ambassador Foundation originally gave seed money for one of HRM Queen Sirikit's projects. It's nice to see the legacy of it bearing fruit.
Special music by Asatuk. It is humorous when you realize that when she lifts the mike up to sing, it isn't her that you hear immediately. Apparently, one of the younger ones decided she needed to be accompanied on her selection.
Special celebration by Ming and friends.
Don't bother some people while they are eating...
[I will surely have to repent for posting that pic... but not today.]
